The charcoal machine carbonizes various wood materials for processing to achieve the ideal carbonization effect, and the finished product can be used as an ideal fuel by people. So are there any specific requirements for various raw materials? First of all, there are many types of raw materials for charring by charcoal machines. Fuelwood, residues from deforested trees, debris removed during deforestation, and residues from wood logs processing plants, such as wood chips, can be re-carbonized after primary processing. Because the wood chips are granular, they need to be carbonized in a special carbonization furnace. The other raw materials are mainly wood segments, which can be directly carbonized by the charcoal machine.
At present, the tree species mainly used for carbonization of raw materials can be divided into three categories: the first category is hard broad-leaved wood, such as Cyclobalanopsis glauca, Castanopsis eyrei, Quercus acutissima, and elm; the second category is soft broad-leaved wood, such as willow, poplar, and lime ; The third category is coniferous wood, such as masson pine, Pinus elliottii, and so on. The finished products processed by different raw materials are different. For example, we need to use a charcoal machine to produce high-quality charcoal to meet the needs of industrial departments such as the metallurgical industry and the carbon disulfide industry. Commonly used pine charcoal is suitable for the manufacture of activated carbon.
In the charcoal machine work, the carbonized material is preferably of uniform size. The general requirement is that the diameter is less than 10 cm. If the diameter is too large, the raw material should be split, and the length of the split line should not exceed 12 cm. The length of the charring material of the charcoal machine is determined according to the height of the charring furnace or charcoal kiln. If some big materials are not split, due to the poor thermal conductivity of the wood, a gas mixture will be generated during carbonization, which will lead from the inside of the wood to the outside. The path is relatively long and the carbonization time is also long. This leads to a significant decrease in the mechanical strength of wood.
Most of the fuelwood we supply for carbonization belongs to the sprouting forest, so it is generally chosen to harvest in autumn and winter, because the trees are in the dormant stage at this time, the sap stops flowing, the roots store substances, and the wood will not be damaged, which is conducive to the renewal of buds in the coming year. However, the autumn weather is sunny, the relative humidity is relatively small, and the wood moisture content is relatively low. The cut fuel wood is easy to dry, which can shorten the carbonization time, reduce fuel consumption, and produce fewer charcoal cracks and high quality.
Of course, it should be noted that the wood of decayed wood and diseased wood can not be used as a raw material for carbonization, because when the decayed wood is carbonized, the charcoal is loose, fragile and easy to spontaneously ignite, which directly reduces the quality of the charcoal.
The types of carbonized raw materials for charcoal machines are generally unlimited, and different raw materials create different finished effects. As long as we adhere to the concept of an honest operation, we can produce good machined charcoal by using good raw materials in production.
